Boarding House Assistant and Bus Driver

Casual Boarding House Assistant and Driver
Commencement ASAP
Generally, there will be no requirement to work during the school holidays.
The position
PLC invites applications from enthusiastic individuals to join the Boarding House in a casual capacity. A Boarding House Assistant and Bus Driver duties are varied and include assisting boarders with school studies; supervising boarders when attending activities and outings; providing pastoral care and guidance; and assisting with the organisation and operation of PLC’s Boarding House facilities. This role will include overnight shifts, early mornings, evenings, and weekends to assist with the running of the Boarding House. Accommodation is provided within the Boarding House when called upon for overnight shifts and meals are provided during work time. The Boarding House Bus Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of boarding students to and from school events and co-curricular activities. Availability on Saturday’s is highly desirable due to a bulk of the bus driving taking place on Saturday’s for weekend Boarding House activities.
Preferred candidates will have demonstrated experience displaying responsibility, teamwork, empathy and attention to detail.
The candidate will require a HR Bus licence and a PTD Authorisation.

French Languages Position Commencing Term 2, 2025

We are seeking to appoint a qualified French Language Teacher for a permanent role commencing Term 2. The successful candidates will be enthusiastic and innovative classroom practitioners and possess knowledge of the Australian Curriculum. Experience of teaching French in both a primary and secondary context would be desirable.

Dance Teacher – Fixed Term Contract until end of Term 3

PLC is inviting applications from suitably qualified Dance teachers to join the Dance and Drama Departments on a part-time (0.7 – 0.8 FTE), fixed-term basis for two terms commencing Term 2, 2025.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to teach across both the Junior and Senior School and will be committed to delivering a dynamic and engaging weekly Drama lesson to Junior School classes.
A strong understanding of the SCSA curriculum for Years 7-10 in Dance and a commitment to fostering student growth in technical and expressive movement skills is highly desirable.
The candidate will possess a comprehensive knowledge of various dance styles and genres, including but not limited to Contemporary and Jazz, and will be able to model and teach these styles with clarity and expertise.
The successful applicant will actively contribute to the College’s rich performing arts program by supporting co-curricular dance activities, school productions, and performance opportunities. They will collaborate with colleagues to ensure students have access to high-quality performance experiences.

Information and Learning Technologies (ILT) Office Administrator

The successful candidate will work closely with the ILT Technical Centre Team to provide administrative support to assist the delivery of ILT support services to students, staff and parents.
