PLC boasts one of the most comprehensive Outdoor Education and Tours programmes on offer for girls in Australia.
Venturing beyond the classroom encourages students to develop their social and leadership skills, build teamwork, develop self-reliance and resilience by engaging in unique experiences that compliment and support the International Baccalaureate framework.
Our Tours programme offers opportunities for girls to explore Australia and the world through PLC-run tours which focus on academic development, sport, service and cultural immersion. Other tours may be added to this schedule as opportunities arise (e.g. International Music Festivals, World Scholars’ Cups, Sports Carnivals).
PLC also hosts students from overseas and we value the rich and diverse experiences these girls bring to our campus.
Our Outdoor Education programmes activate students to step out of their comfort zones. Girls develop life skills in leadership, communication, self-confidence, self-reliance resilience and teamwork. And, of course, the added benefit is they visit amazing places and get to experience the wonder and awe of the natural world.
