Year 6 Places in 2022 Now Available

We are excited to announce that due to demand, PLC will offer three Year 6 classes in 2022.

Why choose to start your daughter’s PLC education in Year 6?

  • Comprehensive Transition Programme – Our Year 6 students experience a seamless transition from the Junior School to the Senior School for Year 7 thanks to our incredible Junior School/Senior School Transition Programme. More than just offering an Orientation Day, we equip our students with everything they need for a successful transition into Senior School.
  • International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) – PLC is one of the few schools in Perth to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) in the Senior School and a fabulous introduction to this world-class curriculum is via the continuation of it from the Primary Years Programme which is the IB’s Junior School programme.
  • Differentiated curriculum with a focus on each child’s needs – at PLC, we value nurturing the interests of each student and equipping them with the skills they need in this ever-evolving world.
  • Expansive co-curricular options – PLC offers a wide variety of co-curricular programmes so that every student and every interest is catered for. Some of these include weekly interschool fixtures for winter sports teams (new in 2022), Athletics, Cross Country and Swimming Carnivals, Summer Sports Day, basketball, athletics, swimming, tennis, volleyball, hockey, soccer, athletics, AFL and netball to name a few!
  • A world-class Music programme – This includes opportunities to perform in the Decibelles Choir, String Ensembles, Percussion Ensembles, Band and peripatetic music lessons.
  • Quality extension and intervention programmes – our teachers are the heart and soul of our school and every single one of them is dedicated to seeing your daughter be their best. Our team of amazing educators and specialists ensure that each and every student receives exactly what they need to thrive.
  • Outdoor Education Programme to Camp Geographe – the memories we forge in school last a lifetime and we ensure that our girls have life-changing memories and unforgettable moments that encourage them to be resilient, kind, and demonstrate tremendous leadership.
  • Annual events such as Year 6 Exhibition, Arts Week and Science Week – our calendar is packed full of amazing events including Migration Museum, Year 6 Final Assembly (like graduation), Year 6 Big Day Out (final excursion/party), with many of them touted as ‘the highlight of the year’, with each better than the last. To encourage our students to be lifelong learners, we inspire and engage them with fabulous events which allow them to showcase their learning and demonstrate student agency
  • Leadership opportunities – students new to PLC can nominate to be a Semester 2 Leader. Each year, a number of students new to PLC are elected to leadership positions by their peers and teachers
