PLC will be the first Western Australian school to deliver a dedicated health and wellbeing centre with programs aimed at preventing mental illness and promoting mental health when it opens its doors in 2018.

Named the PLC Lighthouse, the primary purpose of the centre is to provide a state-of-the-art facility for staff to deliver the Health and Wellbeing Australian Curriculum.

The Lighthouse will also provide a range of services and programmes for all of our students, from Kindergarten to Year 12, as well as for staff and the wider PLC community.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest to operate from the PLC Lighthouse in the following domains:

Health Services

  • Physiotherapy

Recreational / Fitness Programmes

  • Pilates
  • Yoga
  • Zumba
  • Strength & Conditioning
  • Self-Defence
  • Fitness sessions (5–11-year-olds)
  • Fitness sessions (12-18-year-olds)
  • Fitness sessions (adults)

Classes / Courses / Programmes

  • Nutrition / Cooking
  • Meditation / Mindfulness
  • Early Years (0-5) initiatives
  • Child initiatives (6-12)
  • Teen initiatives (13-18)
