Isabella Poll featured at TEDx countdown

Isabella Poll Speaking at TEDx Countdown

Many of our Old Collegians are at the forefront of change-making and our Class of 2020 graduate, Isabella Poll is a testament to that.

She has been selected as one of the six speakers at Countdown, TED’s global initiative to champion and accelerate solutions to the climate crisis, held at the State Theatre Centre of WA on Saturday 6 November.

Countdown puts those most affected by climate change front and centre and this event will be live recorded for six new TEDx talks, to be shared globally by TED.

Miss Poll will share her fresh ideas for practical routes to a better, more sustainable world.

She will be joined by The Honourable Kim Beazley AC, Governor of Western Australia who will deliver a Welcome Address. The Governor strongly believes that young and emerging leaders are central to WA’s path to carbon neutrality.

Miss Poll is the Millenium Kids Youth Board Co President and is sure to bring innovative and positive ideas to the table.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for young leaders to gain inspiration, hope, and learn about tangible actions they can do to help our environment,” Miss Poll said.
