The Senior and Middle School Visual Arts Exhibition, ONTOGENESIS, was opened by WA artist Mark Tweedie last Friday. Each piece had a story to tell and was a reflection of the extraordinary work students have produced, some involving two years’ commitment.
The exhibition featured more than 500 works across a range of mediums including sculpture, painting, drawing, ceramics, textiles and woodwork projects. Emma Haining, Director of Visual Arts said the exhibition was a stunning success.
“Many parents came to see the wealth and colour of students’ work. The feedback we’ve had has been stunning and the girls feel very proud of their achievements.”
Visual Arts award winners were announced and Rebecca Dunsdonwas named the Visual Arts Captain for 2017.
